Career Development

A career is the sum total of paid and unpaid work, learning and life roles you undertake throughout your life. A career is a continuous process of learning and development (myfuture.edu.au). 

At Lumen Christi College, our aim is to work with students to achieve their personal academic goals to ensure they have a logical next step beyond Year 12. 

The role of the Career Counsellor at Lumen Christi College is to:

  • 1:1 Counselling of students
  • Parents as Career Partners information evenings
  • Career Voyage program (Computerised Career Questionnaire)
  • Assisting students in subject selections for Upper School
  • Year 10 Career Day
  • Guest speakers from tertiary and vocational organisations

Kelly Kendall-Jones, Lumen Christi College Career Counsellor is always happy to meet with both students and parents to discuss any Career Development needs of the student. 

Office Hours and Contact Details

The Careers Office is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays during school hours.
