Art Exhibition

If ever the Guiding Light of Creativity is going to be at its best, it will be in Term 3. The Arts is busy with a multitude of entries in the Catholic Performing Arts Festival. Late in Term 3, the Visual Arts Learning Area will host the 2023 annual Art Exhibition. This is an exciting showcase of selected artworks produced this year in the Visual Arts and Media Art. The work being displayed includes work from Year 7 through to Year 12. The exhibition is a chance for our students to shine and be Lights of Creativity and Excellence.
Special guest judge and previous Lumen art teacher, Shanice Stacey, has been invited to examine the artworks and provide us winners in each year level and course.
The Art Exhibition opening night is a wonderful event of art, music and dance to accompany insightful speeches from our 2023 Visual Arts Captain, Trinity Barrett, our guest judge and our Head of Learning Area (Visual Arts), Lance Taylor.

The College community is welcomed to view the art works in our Performing Arts Centre at the Official Exhibition Opening Night, or during the extended viewing times:

Exhibition Opening Night - Wednesday 13 September at 6pm (RSVP lance.taylor@cewa.edu.au)
Exhibition Viewing Hours - Thursday, 14 September and Friday, 15 September between 8:00am – 9:00am and 3:15pm – 5:00pm.
